Budapest 2026
The Hungaroring is a circuit overlooked by many, but it is one of the fiercest challenges on our calendar in FIA F3. I was certainly looking forward to following my previous experience racing at this legendary circuit. So many great names have won here: Schumacher, Hamilton, Verstappen, and the list goes on. My desire to one day join them is burning as bright as ever. Only three rounds left in the FIA F3 Championship of 2026, and I still have a statement to make.

A damp morning to start our weekend in Budapest, as temperatures were lower than anticipated. A walk around the Hungaroring had my lines locked in, notes taken, and targets set ahead of the weekend. My experience is building in FIA F3, and my confidence is growing. I know it is about time a big result was delivered.
Friday, 24th of July 2026
An important day at a circuit that is hard to overtake on. Diving the car in for qualifying was going to be a top priority for us on the team as Friday's practise session approached. Out on track, knowledge gained, data gathered, and objectives understood. Practise was a successful session that set us up well for qualifying. Green light at the end of the pit lane, and it was time to deliver our best lap, pushing hard across a couple of runs. At a circuit known to destroy tyres, we locked in P12 on the grid, which meant one thing: reverse grid pole for Saturday's sprint and a real opportunity for my first podium.
Saturday, 25th of July 2026
Off pole for the first time in FIA F3. I knew this was my moment. Lights out and away we go. An intense battle into turn one, where I managed to hold on to the lead. Saw a clear view in front of me as the laps started to count down in this FIA F3 sprint race. The tough battle on track saw me slip down to second place, but good management from here had me hold on lap after lap, crossing the line to take my first FIA F3 podium, bringing my ART rocket home in second place. A feeling I have dreamt of. A moment I've waited so long for. This really was a dream come true for myself, my team, and my family. Standing on the podium, seeing the Japanese flag above my head is a feeling I'm never going to forget. There are so many people that I owe thanks to for this moment. What an opportunity, what a result, and what a day to remember. Thank you, Budapest. Thank you, ART. Thank you, Japan. Of course, a big thank you to my family, team, and sponsors.

Sunday 26th of July 2026
Sadly, Sunday would not bring the same results as we achieved on Saturday. A DNF early on in the race due to a technical failure left me on the sidelines, watching the laps tick down in a race that I could no longer take part in. A very disappointing end to what had been a memorable weekend, but nevertheless confidence was high heading into the final two races of the season. Now it's time for extra training, feet up, and a little bit of time to enjoy the summer break ahead of the two final rounds in Monza and Madrid.
