FIA Formula Three – Round 4
The Red Bull Ring, an infamous circuit with great history and one of the most exciting race venues on the calendar for wheel-to-wheel action, provided the backdrop for the fourth round of the 2026 FIA F3 Championship. The Styrian Hills provided the backdrop as we entered the midpoint of the season, off the back of a solid weekend in Barcelona. Expectations were high, and the promise was clear as to what could be achieved.

Prep day in Austria, with a scorching track walk as temperatures exceeded 35°C as the European heatwave took hold of the Red Bull Ring. The track has plenty of elevation and a few minor changes since the in-season test one month ago. I was locked in, focused, and ready. My preparations with my engineer were complete, and the black and red of my ART F3 car was ready to go. It was time to rest and hit the track on Friday.

A big day ahead with both practise and qualifying sessions, ready to shape what the weekend would become, and immediately our potential was clear. A strong practise session, as I got back to grips with the Red Bull Ring circuit, had us comfortably fighting for a top ten potential as we entered the qualifying session on Friday afternoon.
Temperature soaring and new tyres shining, we entered the circuit for an all-out push to decide who would be at the front of the grid. A strong effort from myself landed me in 8th position overall, meaning I would start Saturday Sprint Race from a very solid P5 on the grid.
A great day wrapped up with my best result in FIA F3 qualifying so far. It shows that the effort and hard work of both the team and me are truly paying off as the season begins to heat up.

Saturday and Sprint Race Day: we're ready to take to the track for an exciting sprint to the line in the mountains. Track temperature is rising, and the lights are on. We got to work on the track for an intense battle that never seemed to end. Great overtaking, close racing, and continuous action from start to finish saw me push to the line, finishing a very solid P6 and claiming a handful of points and my strongest result in F3.
Post-race, however, bad news struck. Due to a technical issue beyond the control of myself and the team, we suffered a technical infringement that resulted in disqualification from the race. Devastating, but nonetheless we left today knowing we gained no advantage from the situation and can be very proud of our result. This was our true pace, our true potential, and a showing of what was possible as we head into the remainder of the weekend and season thereafter.
