We are here at Albert Park for the first time, for something surreal. I grew up watching the Formula 1 cars race around these walls, and now it is my turn to take on this mighty circuit in the highest level of junior single-seater racing in FIA F3.

Myself, Kanato, and my team ART Grand Prix are ready for the challenge, and I'm excited to see what the weekend has in store. Track walk done, media done, and we are ready to take on the challenge.

Day 1 on track. All of the hard work has led to this moment.

Entering the streets of Albert Park for the first time, with my engine behind me, was something special. Taking in the sights and smells as I did my first installation lap is something I will never forget.

Learning the track in a quick practise session, dotted with red flags, was an intense experience.

The afternoon arrived, and it was time for qualifying. It was my first time on the limit around this track, and it was a step compared to what I've experienced before. A slightly under-optimised session left us out of position versus the potential of my ART F3 car.  I knew that as we progress and enter our qualifying sessions throughout the season, the performance was only going to get better.

An early start, and we were back in the park for my first taste of racing in FIA F3. The sprint race, which saw the top 12 reversed, was my first challenge. Sadly, I was outside of the reverse. I knew I had a lot to climb to get in front of me, but this was as much about learning as securing a result.

A race that would have been a tough start to the championship was curtailed by an early red flag, limiting our running in Saturday's race and sadly prohibiting us from making progress around the streets, which proved hard to overtake. The first race is now in the bag, and tomorrow was a new day where I was looking to make progress.

The final day in Melbourne, and the earliest start of them all, in the pit lane as the sun comes up. I was ready to take on the feature race. After a few laps, our race was cut short, and our Melbourne experience did not end the way we intended. A tough weekend, but a lot to learn.

I would now switch my focus to Melbourne after the cancellation of Bahrain to Monaco, with sights set on bouncing back and scoring my first points in FIA F3.
